The Amethyst by JZ Microphones is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone with a distinct vintage sound that brings to mind legendary German valve microphones. Featuring a class-A transistor circuit and a Golden Drop diaphragm to guarantee a tremendously fast transient response and detailed trebles, this hand-built microphone can also be safely suspended above a drum kit or stuck in front of a guitar amp.
