Description:
Francesca Dego's new recording! Born in 1989, Francesca Dego is one of the most popular young Italian violinists on the international scene, boasting a sonorous sound, convincing interpretation, and seamless technique. In Japan, she has already won many fans with her wonderful performances with the NHK Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra Ensemble Kanazawa, and Kyushu Symphony Orchestra. He made a brilliant Chandos debut with "Il Canone" (PCHAN20223/CHAN20223), playing a violin owned and loved by Paganini himself, and released all five Mozart violin concertos with Roger Norrington in two volumes, the first volume (PCHAN20234/CHAN20234) was named "Recording of the Month" (November 2021) by BBC Music Magazine in the UK, and has also received very high praise for his Mozart performances. Having completed the concerto, Dego's next Mozart work is a collection of piano quartets.Just as he was about to start composing "The Marriage of Figaro," Mozart was commissioned by the Viennese music publisher Hofmeister to compose two piano quartets, No. 1 in G minor and No. 2 in E-flat major. Piano quartets were still a novelty at the time, and although Johann Schubert had already composed a piano quartet with two violins, Mozart is said to be the de facto inventor of the piano quartet with piano, violin, viola, and cello, which is still common today. One cannot help but look forward to Dego's new Mozart recording with Timothy Ridaut, Laura van der Heijden, and Federico Colli, all of whom are young and talented players who have each released important recordings on Chandos.
